The rules for using this site and buying from us: what you get, when you get it, what you may do with it, and what happens if something goes wrong.
PortugalClothingFactory.com (“we”, “us”) is run from Portugal. We help fashion brands produce clothing in Portugal: we review briefs, place production with the factory in our group that fits, make tech packs and publish the Factory Directory.
These terms apply when you use this website or buy from us. By using the site or completing a purchase, you accept them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy.
Prices, cost ranges, minimums (MOQs), lead times and calculator results on this site are planning estimates based on typical projects. They help you budget; they are not offers. A price, minimum or date only binds us when we confirm it to you in writing for your specific project.
Prices are in euros. Payments are made upfront by card through Stripe. Any VAT that applies is shown at checkout. Your receipt is emailed automatically; if you need an invoice with your company details, email us.
The Directory is digital content delivered the moment you pay, and our services start as soon as you pay. For this reason all purchases are final.
This does not affect any rights the law gives you that cannot be excluded. If a file is broken or not what the product page described, email hello@portugalclothingfactory.com and we fix or replace it.
Your designs, briefs, sketches and files remain yours. We use them only to handle your request. We share them only with the factory we place your project with, and we keep them confidential.
The text, guides, templates, Directory, tools and design of this site belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. You may read, print and share links to our pages. Free templates may be used for your own products, but not resold or redistributed. Some images belong to their credited owners and are used with permission.
We prepare our guides, tools and services with care, but the free content on this site is general information, not professional advice for your specific case.
We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost sales or business interruption. For any paid product or service, our total liability is limited to the price you paid for it. We are not responsible for what a factory you contact through the Directory does or doesn’t do.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, intent or gross negligence, or any other liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
We link to factories, fairs, certification bodies and other sites because they are useful. We don’t control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. The terms that apply to a purchase are the ones published on the day you paid.
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, and the courts of Portugal have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
If something goes wrong, email hello@portugalclothingfactory.com first: most problems are solved in one reply. You can also use the electronic complaints book (Livro de Reclamações), and consumers can go to a consumer arbitration centre listed on the Portuguese consumer portal (www.consumidor.gov.pt).
